Questions about paying

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Permits and garden waste can be paid in 2 parts, 6 months apart. Choose this when you pay.

Do I get money back if I move?

Yes, for every full month left. Tell us the date you move and we refund the card you paid with within 10 working days.

What if I can't afford it?

Call us on 01632 960 400. We can pause a payment, spread it out, or check if you can get Council Tax Reduction.

Can I pay in cash?

Yes, at any post office with the barcode on your bill, or at the Customer Service Center at Ashby Town Hall.

Why do older diesel cars pay more?

They put out the most pollution near homes and schools. The extra money pays for the electric car charge points.

Ready to apply for a permit?

It takes about 10 minutes. You can save your answers and come back within 7 days.
